sTEWART - Emmanuel College’s
eighth President, Michael S. Stewart, assumed office on July 1,
2005. He is a 1979 graduate of Emmanuel’s School of Christian
Ministries, and his wife, Pam (Boggs), also graduated with the A.A.
degree in 1978. Dr. Stewart also holds the M.A. degree in
Counseling from Liberty University, a Graduate Certificate from the
Beeson Institute of Advanced Church Leadership of Asbury Theological
Seminary; in addition, he earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from
the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Dr. Stewart is an ordained minister in the Georgia Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and serves on the IPHC General Ministry Cabinet. He also serves as president of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of various regional professional boards.
President Stewart has distinguished himself in the area of Christian ministry as an educator, pastor, and church leader. The Stewarts have two grown sons, Justin and Joshua.
